About Me

I’m a freelance journalist and author, based in London, specialising in features and opinion on mental health, gender, science and tech. I also write about music, dating, culture and anything else thrown my way.  I worked at WIRED magazine for a year, writing news and features and appearing on the weekly podcast, and also have bylines at NY Mag, the Guardian, Times Literary Supplement, New Statesman, BBC and many more. I can also regularly be found writing news and features for Shortlist and Stylist. I've also appeared on Newstalk, the FiveThirtyEight podcast, Radio 4's Today Programme and Woman's Hour.

My book, A Beginner's Guide To Losing Your Mind, was released in February 2017. You can read more about the book, and praise it's received, here. I am currently working on my second book.

I am also an activist on mental health and women's rights; read more about this here. And if you'd like to support my work, you can do so here
