I’m a freelance journalist and author, based in London, specialising in features and opinion on mental health, the internet, gender, science and tech. I also write about music, dating, culture and anything else thrown my way. I worked at WIRED magazine for a year, writing news and features and appearing on the weekly podcast, and also have bylines at NY Mag, the Guardian, Times Literary Supplement, New Statesman, BBC and many more. I can regularly be found writing news and features for Shortlist, Stylist and the i paper, and have a column on intimacy, desire and technology at Huck. I was recently awarded DIVA Magazine's Journalist of the Year award.
I also do regular media appearances – Newstalk, the FiveThirtyEight podcast, Radio 4's Today Programme and Woman's Hour to name a few – as well as speaking on panels and at other events.
