I’m a freelance journalist and author based in London, specialising in features and opinion on mental health, the internet, intimacy, gender, health and tech. I worked at WIRED magazine for a year, writing news and features and appearing on the weekly podcast, and also have bylines at VOGUE, NY Mag, i-D, Dazed, the Guardian, Times Literary Supplement, Women’s Health, BBC and many more. I can regularly be found writing news and features for Shortlist, Stylist and the i paper, and have a column on intimacy, desire and technology at Huck. I was recently awarded DIVA Magazine's Journalist of the Year award.
I also do regular media appearances – Newstalk, the FiveThirtyEight podcast, Radio 4's Today Programme and Woman's Hour to name a few – as well as speaking on panels and chairing events for groups including the British Academy, Pluto Press and more. I regularly speak at schools and sixth form colleges on mental health, the media and more.
